Outfit post

Hi readers,

New month and a new season. However, here in LA it is like Summer has first now really arrived. It has been so hot all week, which is great in a away, I would have preferred hot weather before I started school though ;)
This Labor Day weekend me and my boyfriend actually ended up doing a lot of stuff, stuff good for couples as well as friends. So stay tuned for the couple-dates-post this Friday where I will tell you more about it. I will make a post or two about this weekend on my travel blog within the next couple of days though, so go check that one out as well.

This Friday we went to see a movie and while waiting we went to see the sunset (more details about this on Friday) I was (once again) wearing my favorite dress from Angl

Sneak Peak next guide Ideas for Couple Dates

Hi readers,
First week of school is over and I already have A LOT of homework and assignments. But that's college life, I just have to suck it up ;) My lovely boyfriend finally has some days off this weekend so we are going to spend some well-needed quality-time together. Next post will therefore, be Sunday or Monday since I am going to spend all my time with him and on my homework.
We have not figured out what or even if we are going to do something exciting but it inspired me to make a guide to you with my (and my boyfriend's) ideas for couple's dates. There are so much to do in LA and a lot of romantic spots to go to - even for poor students like myself ;) I will therefore, give you guys a guide next Friday September 6, so stay tuned for some inspiration - even if you are not in a relationship you can always bring a good friend. ;)

Nightlife in Los Angeles//Hollywood /First Guide

Hi everyone,

My first guide will be about going out in Vegas. My bestie came and visited me last week and we went out 3(!) times in less than a week so I thought I might start with a 'going-out-guide' (also, because I bet  lot of you girls want some info on this?) ;)

Where to start,
If you are into more laid-back-lounge-kind-of-feeling Downtown is a great place. A few weeks ago me and my boyfriend went to the Seven Bar lounge with some friends and we both thought it was a great place (if you don't mind paying $15 for a drink) The music and the vibe was really good.

If you want to go all out and hit some clubs I have been a few places. All of them in Hollywood because that is the 'in-spot' in terms of clubbing.

First of all; get in contact with a promotor (find them on instagram, they often have a number on their profile) Give them a call and tell them you are interested in their club and how many you are. Most of the times they can get you in for free and with no waiting in line. You should at least give it a try.

The first club I went to was Couture. It wasn't really my scene because it was mostly house music and electronic but if you like that this is the spot. They were also dancing with real, living snakes, which was an insane experience.

We went to Couture for my girls bday and because my friend had a good 'promoter-friend' we got private table, free drinks, champagne and freshly baked cookies.

If you prefer more hip-hop music like me these are the spots:
Playhouse: Playhouse is not exactly my scene, the music was great but most of the girls in there dressed really .. uhm 'non-classy'. But it is a good spot to spot celebrities. When I was there Jason DeRulo and Wiz Khalifa was there as well.

Greystone Manor (West Hollywood): again, not my favorite spot. Really good music but they smoked a lot of ... which i really do not like plus they only let people in they feel is good enough, which I hate.

Eden: Eden is a really cool spot. We went there a Thursday because Lil' Romeo was hosting his party and so him as well as Ne-Yo and T.I. were in the house. BUT. There was a lot of smoking going on and not just cigarettes. So I am probably not going back there again.

Drai's Hollywood: This is my favorite spot. It is the classiest place of them all and the music was great. Really cool spot.

// Girls nights are great but I also enjoy going out with my lovely boyfriend both with the girls and alone. He always dresses up nice and we both enjoy it <3

Checking in, first day of class

Hi readers,
Right now I'm waiting for the man to get home so we can have dinner. I am so tired after a looong day. Today I had my first classes after the Summer break and thus, started Fall semester at Santa Monica College. I have classes every Tuesday and Thursday from 8.00-3.35 so there will probably be no posts on these days ;) hihi... I already have papers and assignments to do, which I will get on tomorrow.

Today I was wearing my favorite sunnies from Hugo Boss and my favorite maxi dress from my favorite store Angl. I love their stuff (in particularly their dresses) and their prices (great for poor students like me) The material of this dress is amazingly comfortable and it was only around $50. 

The picture is from last week though where my bestie visited me all the way from Denmark. I will show the dress in more details later (I wear it a lot)

Starting up again; thoughts

Hi all,

As you know, or can read in my previous post, I decided to stop posting on this blog, and delete all previous posts, in December last year because I was moving to Los Angeles and my family and friends wanted me to make a travel blog with pictures from all my adventures. I could not find energy to keep 2 blogs and at the same time focus on my school (which is the reason why I moved here) and at the same time enjoy my stay. Now I have been here for 7 months and I am half way through my stay, which means I am now settled and completely comfortable and happy here so therefore, I have decided to start posting on this blog again. All my adventures will still be posted on my travel blog however, all my regular posts; outfits; thoughts; guides to LA; and others will be posted on this blog only. My travel blog will remain in Danish but it is mostly pictures so feel free to follow that blog as well. I hope to get my past network of followers back.

Happy New Year ! New city, new country, new adventures, new blog <3

Hi everyone
I'm so so happy! 2012 has ben such a great year. I moved to a new city in September 2011 and made new friends and had some great experiences during 2012! I'm so grateful for every experience I've had and every person I've met! Thank you!
However, 2013 is going to be even more fantastic I'm sure of it!
I'm glad to inform you all that I'm moving again! It's been planed for a long time but now it's really official! I'm moving to Los Angeles, California, USA to study for a whole year! I simply can't wait! I'm flying out the 8th of January. Because of this huge experience I'm going to quit this blog! But if you guys want to follow my new, big adventures I've made a new blog where I'm going to blog about my experiences -> www.thebayside.blogspot.com :-) I hope you will follow me on my new blog. If not thanks for the love and support so far! It's been a grate year!
